Angelina Jolie on Russian Crimes!

The human safari is a Russian campaign of deliberate terrorism against civilians in Kherson, Ukraine. Russian military units, since May 2024, utilize drones to purposefully target Ukrainian civilians during the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine. Due to these actions, a UN report concluded there was a high probability that the Russian Armed Forces was guilty of murder, forced transfer, terror, attacks on civilians and outrages upon personal dignity which amount to war crimes and crimes against humanity. A Human Rights Watch (HRW) report concurred and found Russian armed forces guilty of attacks on civilians, murder and terror as war crimes and crimes against humanity (Wikipedia)

American actress and UN Goodwill Ambassador Angelina Jolie stated that she faced a constant, palpable drone threat during her visits to the southern Ukrainian cities of Mykolaiv and Kherson, adding that her group paused while a drone passed overhead, according to her Instagram post on November 9, 2025.

In her own words:

“I visited Mykolaiv and Kherson in Ukraine this week to meet families living on the frontline. The threat of drones was a constant, heavy presence. You hear a low hum in the sky. It’s become known locally as a ‘human safari’, with drones used to track, hunt and terrorize people, constantly. There was a moment when we had to pause and wait while a drone flew overhead. I was in protective gear, and for me, it was just a couple of days. The families here live with this every single day.”

“The people of Mykolaiv and Kherson live with danger every day, but they refuse to give in. At a time when governments around the world are turning their backs on the protection of civilians, their strength, and their support for each other is humbling. After nearly four years of conflict, exhaustion is visible, yet so too is determination. Families want safety, peace, and the chance to rebuild their lives.”
